I can buy this system locally for pretty cheap, but I just want it to play famicom games.  Can't really find any info if it can or not so any info would be greatly appreciated.  Heres a link to the system  http://www.amazon.com/NES-Retro-Entertainment-System-White-Nintendo/dp/B003VH2C78/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1325023558&sr=1-2

That's the Yobo FC Game Console under a different name. Its NOT a very good Famiclone at all, which is why its ridiculously cheap.

I highly suggest you read through the NES/Famicom starting guide I wrote for people looking to get into the Famicom or NES for the first time. This list tracks the prices plus the major pros and cons of each choice. There are many others I haven't listed, but these are the major players.

Here's a review I wrote a while back for the Yobo FC Game Console (right here on Famicom World!) this is the 2005 model I'm reviewing here. http://famicomworld.com/system/famiclones/yobo-fc-game-console/
