Post some pics of prototype Nintendo hardware! Bonus points for anyone who can find a prototype Famicom.

SuFami w/ Famicom Adaptor:

And the Controller:

Note the hard plastic Start and Select buttons, And the different button labels. It looks much more like the NES dogbone controller.

I want the prototypes in the first pic. Those look awesome!

Me too - it's why I looked for a SNES famiclone for a long time, I was gonna mod it to look like this.

Actually, I have seen some pics of a prototype 3DS.  These are not on the internet wherever I've searched.
I'm not talking the motherboard or a debug kit, an actual labelled prototype 3DS.

As for famicom, I don't believe there ever was a prototype was there?
Closest to that I'd say is the Block Kuzushi, the first Nintendo-badged console:

Image is hotlinked  from Japan-Games' site as I consider him the most relevant and knowledgable person for this topic.
I can remove/replace if necessary.

Not a console and not a prototype, but still Nintendo related and cool nonetheless:

A cool toy car that Nintendo produced in 1972 - The Mach Rider:

It's battery operated, the way it works is you place it in the blue ramp, go through the gears to get the wheels spinning and then it releases and shoots across the floor.
