devil world cart very glitchy

for some reason my devil world is a bit wonky. half the time it doesn't load up and when it does chunks of words on the title screen are corrupted. when it doesn't load there is a fuzzy green screen.
do you know how to fix this (preferrably without opening the cart, but if i have to, ill be happy to do it)

edit: i remembered something: it's q-tip cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol/windex, right?

Yeah, clean the game's pins by rubbing them with q-tips dipped in alcohol. Don't use windex!
