I've done it several times and I have yet to break any tabs. It's fairly difficult though as there's not a whole lot of room to work with on the front half of the cart.

It's the best solution that I'm aware of, although I haven't opened any FC carts.

ur biggest trouble will be not tearing the top label since it overlaps the top...
