MC Cthulu

Have any of you heard or do any of you use the MC Cthulu to game? For those of you who may not know what it is: (http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/46572/the-official-cthulhu-and-chimp-thread-try-our-new-dreamcast-flavor)

It's a Custom PCB that allows you to use a controller on Multiple Platforms. Partnered with Arcade parts, it becomes over the long run a very low cost solution for controllers.

I have one and mostly use it on the PC, but wanted to share the idea with you all since it is compatible with the NES.

Aw man, when I first read the thread title I thought that it would be some crazy hack of M.C. Kids where you controlled Cthulhu instead of the kid.

yeah I have a few works with mostly every system except for Mega Drive/Geny and N64 great board designed for arcade sticks but you can use it for controllers but you have to cut the board down and if you want to use for Xbox 360 you have to dual mod it with a 360 pcb because of the security chip works great when you add an Rj45 to your arcade stick all you have to do is plug in whatever system cord you want for that system its a great little board

I love the way the Seimitsu PS-14-G buttons feel while playing Famicom games. Had to ask on here. I also enjoy the fact that you just have more control over the parts of your stick in comparison to controllers. Not only that but theming in relation to colored buttons, balltops with optional backlighting, bezel art customization and ease of wire replacement.

My stick is kind of plain right now, just so happens to be Famicom World's color theme (Black and Yellow).

Also have a Seimitsu LS-33 in there with octagon restrictor plate.

I heard about it and I'm interested but I'm currently using Capcom Power Stick Fighter which is a Super Famicom stick with real arcade parts (Sanwa JLW stick with square restrictor gate, but the actual buttons are custom) that also comes with a Famicom cord, and thus can be used for both those consoles already. And if I need to use it with another console it would be enough with a SFC controller adapter.

Since it's a SFC controller it doesn't have enough buttons for newer consoles though.

Got one last year when Gamestop was clearancing Brawlsticks for $30.  Completely worth it.

I had the same crazy thought as Nightstar. There's obviously too many weird sprite hack pirates floating around for thoughts like these to be common.

I've had one for a while, it's freaking awesome. I have yet to make a Famicom/NES cable for it though.
