Anyone out there willing to pull a FD7201 chip from a junked FDS drive? The one on my Twin Fami drive (somehow) got fried when my Twin Fami overheated and rather than swapping the entire drive, I'd just like to replace the drive controller itself.

Actually at this point I would be totally OK with swapping the drive, granted it's in fully working order of course. However, I'd still like to get just the FD7201 itself.

I have one. So you want me to desolder the chip? I think it may be better if I sent you the board and you can desolder it yourself. One of the switches is broken on it, so either replace that or desolder the chip.

That's totally cool with me, I'll be sending you a PM shortly.
