Homebrew Famicom Games

Tonight I have been thinking about Famicom and its homebrew scene, after the exciting news regarding the proto of Monster Party and a possible "reproduction" on 60 pin format.  Now I know the difference between homebrew games and these "reproductions" (so please don't lecture me on them here, hehe) but in a way, these two items are related somewhat, and that is what got me thinking of Famicom homebrew games in the first place.

Although I've been barely able to keep up with the NES homebrew scene, I remember it in its infancy, with stuff such as Covell's Solar Wars and the like.  But I never really thought about a Japanese homebrew scene until now.

I guess I have a few questions about Famicom homebrew games.

1.  Does anyone have a list of Famicom homebrew games?  I've heard of some titles, such as Mr Splash, but am wondering if there is a comprehensive list available somewhere?

2.  Were any of these games put onto cart and sold, or just available as a rom image?

Thanks.

Zooming Secretary is good, as is Super Bat Puncher.

I'm not sure if a comprehensive list exists, at least not in English. Maybe we can build one?

The best one is, of course, Blade Buster. Just a ROM, but the author was kind enough to release an awesome label for it, allowing great repros to be made.

There's Kira Kira Star Night which actually was released as a cart, for a whooping $200 apparently. Good audiovisually, but the gameplay looks kind of thin.

Can't remember any others at the moment...

Famicom "homebrew" is tricky to define to me. There are still junk companies making famicom carts like waixing.  What counts as homebrew?

For me it would be the same terms as for how I would define one for the NES:  Some guy independently makes a game at his home / out of his garage / etc.

Waixing games would be unlicensed, but being made by a large development team at a for-profit company that has released their games commercially in the masses, I don't count their stuff as homebrew.

I guess, I mean most homebrew carts have at least a few people collaborating on them and usually are sold for profit.  I have no knowledge of the size of waixing, or whether it's 1 person or 100 but I can't imagine their dev team is all that large
