They're not lower, they just joined later.  New people join every day, last time I looked at the member list there was someone joining that very moment.  Besides, if anything, the number is higher, so they're certainly not lower.

Post count also does not indicate anything other than how many posts someone has made.  Don't be swayed by silly stats.

There's almost always a spambot trying to register for the forums.  There's been 37 registration attempts by banned IP addresses in the past 13 hours.  And that number doesn't even include all the thwarted registration attempts by spammers on the third-party IP blacklist that we use
