Just because something's illegal doesn't mean it's wrong or bad to do. Besides, many states now have provisions for medical marijuana, not to mention that it's not illegal in all countries. Abuse is a much bigger problem for any substance than use is. When it comes down to it, it's really more about politics and money than anything else.

Not sure.  I've never done any drugs myself.  I don't care if other people do it but I want no part of it,  and if they do it, well knowing it's illegal, then that's their problem unfortunately...  Sorry if that sounds kind of harsh, but I have had bad experiences second and third hand.  Just 2 days ago, a kid came into class high, he stabbed me in the class because I was throwing paper at him even though I wasn't...

I know pot isn't that harmful and the government should go easy on it, but they don't...

You should go rent the movie "harsh times".

The main dude in that flick is a guy trying to become a cop but he's also a habitual pot smoker. The way he beats the piss test is through the use of some clean urine, a syringe, and a helluva lotta will power. I'm sure you could guess what the procedure involves. Gotta be one of the most painful things to do to yourself.

I just saw this movie last year.  It was a turkey baster.

The legal repercussions are less severe than the general lifestyle ones in my opinion.  Think about it, how many people do you know who carry on past their teens and make a good go of things.  Rockstars aside I've not seen one.

It's not there aren't successful people who are daily users (I know some CEOs, attorneys, and other successful people who are). It's just that they keep it on down low, and you only ever hear about the people who make a mess of their lives. Just because you don't hear about it does not mean that it doesn't happen.
