If you just want to play four players - there's adapter that plugs into the EXT port and splits off into two signals - could be worth looking at.

Remember that Famicom  multitaps and NES multitaps like the Four Score uses different protocols, and only works with games that support them.

I think you could wire it through the expansion port but it's not possible to use the normal NES controller to Famicom EXT port adapter that is often discussed here.

Sadly I never took my time and fixed so it worked with 4 controllers :( it wasn't a really big deal to fix it.

hi Elrinth
OMG very Pro soldering  :o but nice try  ;D
i have read the post before but that was for Famicom not for sharp twin, is that same diagram with sharp twin?  ???

Elrinth

yes this was for my sharp twin famicom extension port. and yes, they are obviously identical in pin layout.

Oh if you just want to plug NES controllers into a Famicom that diagram WILL work. Port 1 and 2 will work in the Four Score (according to people that tried it), but not port 3 and 4. However you will be able to play Famicom 4-player games by using the built-in controllers as player 1 and 2 and the Four Score port 1 and 2 as player 3 and 4 (but not 4-player NES games).

And yes as Elrinth said all expansion ports with all Famicoms are identical including the Twin one.
