Nes multis seem harder to come by than famicom ones, but I remember seing at least 2 on ebay the other day. I prob wouldn't pay more than $10-$20 per cart.

First of all far as i know they are from supervision even though logo doesnt appear on them
Secondly only supervision would make such multicarts you can check the menu of it on youtube link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4SxVAkx_do

secondly action 52 and that 6 in 1 you are talking about is
just a joke the games on them are just plain garbage and posted on ebay so easy to find.

another reminder here that the 8 in 1 cartridge as u can see mine is rare because
the rom file for this cart is not available anywhere u can google it and check the game list on the photo
You wont find this 8 in 1 cart anywhere neither the Rom File period its rare.
ironicaly action 52 and caltron rom files are available.

that should just tell you how rare this 8 in 1 is.

Correct me if I am wrong.

the unfortunate thing you learn from buying and selling games is that rare doesn't always equal valuable  :-\

MaxXimus

Just because the rom wasn't dumped, it doesn't mean that the game is the rarest of the rare. Any prototype cartridge would be lightyears rarer than those, and there are roms of many prototypes floating around. I get that you want to make some cash or that to you they are more valuable than others are willing to spend, but in that case, why not just keep the cartridges? They are neat and it would be cool to have some in my collection, but I know if I am just patient eventually I'll find a steal of a deal and not have to pay an outrageous amount.

Junkee

Try finding this cartridge obviousy its rare because its not so easy to find
Define Rare word please.
anyway I am going to keep them thanks

Someone might give you more for them on NintendoAge forums, as they tend to overpay on most stuff, but you came here asking for a price check and that's what we gave you - if it doesn't align with your own expectations don't get mad, just take it on board as what people here would be willing to pay.  No-one is trying to get these from you cheap.

Others are right in that undumped doesn't equal value, plus there will be valuable rare carts up on eBay at silly prices -  eBay listings do not also equal rarity.  Nice multicarts but they're not going to help you pay off the mortgage if that's what you're hoping.

NES multicarts really aren't that rare, in the grand scheme of things, and I could crank them out of my closet all day if I so desired.  But I am an honest collector/seller, and don't do that.

At one point I had some NES multicarts and NES bootlegs of games such as the unlicensed original Super Lion King, Aladdin 2, etc.  In most (if not all) of the cases, when the carts were opened, it all just turned out to be a Famicom pcb attached to a converter.  Now maybe these aren't, but that is something I would definitely like to confirm one way or the other, as I think that this point would definitely sway the scarcity of the item...

Another strike against these carts is that they don't have boxes, and they don't have many games on them.  Just some basic first gen NES titles on a multicart will not net you much money, I'm afraid.

As MaxXimus stated, I would only pay $10 - $20 each for these, though someone on Nintendo Age or eBay might be willing to pay a  bit more.  Definitely not overly rare, definitely not overly valuable, even if the rom is dumped or not.  I have a whole stack of multicarts I am going to sell (FC version though), maybe I have some undumped ones too and will hit the jackpot  :upsetroll:

By comparison, I've got an undumped, high profile Sega Genesis prototype sat at home, it's not going to pay for any holidays though...

A sequel to the Mico Machines franchise.  It eventually became Micro Maniacs on PS1, so it's like a SMD prototype of that game.
It was canned quite early on, but quite fun to see - has a playable level and some other stuff, so it's not an unreleased game as such, more a collector piece.
SEGA 16 forums wanted me to dump it, but I haven't got the means nor the motivation to do it really, not sure how I feel about it just yet.

Had a Game Gear and SMD dev kit as well, original, genuine from back in the day flashcarts that were used with multiple memory banks on them and stuff, really nice to look at and a piece of history, but those are no longer with me.
The proto won't be for much longer either I expect.

I am a big Nintendo fan! especially GameBoy, N64, SFC, GC. And of course Mario games
I collect SFC/N64 mainly. Some rare famicom stuff too. Also miscellaneous video game stuff.

nurd

i think it's ntsc,
it plays fine other than being shades of grey instead of colors. its a famicom board clone instead of a foac

Does anyone know the vale of HVC-KF Kung-Fu? The one that is seen in this post?

If it's brand new boxed like that - a lot of money.  Loose much less.
Loose and worn around $30-50, which is what I paid for mine and the one before that went for the same.
