It's surprisingly lengthy. I wonder if there's anything in this manual that we don't know about the Disk Writer.  Shocked

Exactly! I would be completely fine with buying it myself (even for that price), but I simply can't afford it.

Bump, it's still there at 350,000 yen now. Anyone going to take the bullet on this one?

Still up, down to 3000 dollars! Someone should start a fund raiser and get this thing bought and scanned.

3000 is way too much.

Someone I know got an official Disk Writer storage cabinet with only 1000. This book only has size specifications and stuff like that. I would only be willing to pay that price if it was for the actual kiosk itself or a working copy of the BIOS cartridge that sat inside the machine.

No it's a user's manual for the store owners from what I can tell.
But yeah it is a bit much. Maybe the price will go down after some time.

Ah I see. I know that there is a booklet showing the sizes somewhere. Someone I used to know had one alongside the Japanese big game boy kiosk.

Do you mean the little replica unit that holds FDS disks inside?

No. I mean the storage the store employees used. You can see it in this old news broadcast. It is sitting on top of the disk writer in the background. It would store the yellow disk writer cartridges. It has two dark glass doors on each side and a logo on it too. Pretty cool huh?

I would buy one if I had 3,000 laying around. The issue would then be physical space for the kiosk. I always wanted a disk writer. Maybe eventually.
