battery for remcon wireless famicom remote

just picked up a remcon wireless famicom remote
cant find any info at all online


there is a battery compartment on the back of the controller
but aa are to big around
and aaa are the right around but are to long

anyone have one and know what batt it takes
I can post a pic if needed
