So, I've been thinking about buying a Famicom, but I have quite a few questions I'd like answered first, so here I go!

1. If I get an AV Mod for it, does this remove the 'Channel 95 requirement' when playing on standard CRT TVs over here?

2. Can you plug both a Famicom Disk System and a Famicom 3D system into a Famicom at the same time? Because, admittedly, the 3D system is most of why I want one, since it's not like one can emulate the 3D displayed in that way in any other form! However, from what I've seen, Famicoms only have one 3rd party extension port, so is it possible to hook both up to it? Especially since half the games for the 3D system WERE Disk System games, it would only make sense to have both going at the same time...

3. How is the 3D effect, in your opinion?

Thank you, if you can help me answer these questions! ^^

1. Yes. If you have it hooked up via AV, you won't need to go through RF and thus won't have to tune to channel 95.

2. Yes. The FDS is hooked up with the RAM adapter going through the cartridge slot, and FDS itself through a cable attached to the RAM adapter. The 3D System is hooked up via the Famicom's expansion port.

3. I've never had a 3D System, so I can't say.

The 3D effect is awesome. I was totally surprised the first time I tried mine out. Attack Animal Gakuen, Falsion and 3D Hot Rally are really cool in 3D. Worth it, in my opinion.

I have a 3D system and never got round to properly testing it sadly.  I love 3D gaming, especially on the Virtual Boy, so from the sounds of it, I'm missing out!
