Me too it's discussed in this thread. I'm talking about the Japanese version. I don't have a NES anymore.

I got the PRG0 of the Japanese version in boot form on a NES Cart...

I'm guessing no one knows here...

OK I got my copy back and there are no numbers or anything on the front label. It has the number "09" and an "A" carved on the back label. So maybe I have PRG1.

But according to Bootgod http://bootgod.dyndns.org:7777/profile.php?id=5 Super Mario Bros 3 US version has a Rev-A version with PRG0 so I don't think the label can be trusted, or something else but the PRG ROM was updated.

Edit: I opened my Japanese Super Mario Bros 3 up and it had indeed the "1 PRG" chip.
