I was out at a flea market with a friend when I found 4 black famicom carts with no official labels. They all have white-out type ink saying the same thing
(小木木しんたろう). Two of them have what looks to be serial numbers. I reluctantly  opened one because it would not load and I needed to open it to get to the edge connector and clean it because it is in less than great shape. If someone could validate anything about them that would be great. I did get them to all load on my famicom and one is Hydlide 3 ( the one with the most torn label), Another is arabian dream( labeled as no.188), The third one is  Metro cross (labeled 144) and the fourth one I cant identify. If someone could help validate them for what they are that would be cool. Also what is the best way to clean the corrosion on the edge connector. I was thinking of using flux and a iron without solder to just activate the flux but I was not sure if that is safe. I fear that may tear and delaminate the traces off the board.

What kind of corrosion are you talking about? Are the connectors gold plated or just tinned? Is the tin layer washed out?
Try using acetone, but do not touch plastic, as it will dissolve.

It looks like oxidization. The connection pads are gold but have like speckles in it that are blue green with a faint bumpy texture making me think its gold plated and the tin underneath is what is corroding away. For right now I can get them all to load on a regular famicom so I probably wont do anything to drastic but it will not read on my retro freak other than Hydlide 3.
