I have had this Famicom disk system for a few years now.  It used to work great but now I pulled it out for the first time in a long time and its not so great.  The LED is not lighting up and I just get a black screen.  The Famicom I'm using works it runs carts still no problem.  The disk system is not making a sound like its not getting power.  I have an official power supply for it.  Batteries don't work either.  I changed the belt and still nothing.  I'm going crazy help pleases!!!!

Yes it is all connected.  I was wondering myself if the ram could be the issue but I don't want to buy another one just to find out my ram is not the problem.

It's a lone shot, but maybe your cable got broken on the power line, try to measure voltage inside, maybe it's not there.

Also try cleaning the RAM adapter connector.
Can't find the FDSLoadr PC program? Get it here. It took me way too long to find.
