Looking for an option to play my famicom games in high definition.

This video underneath triggered my interest, but it seems the hero that made this, did not leave instructions.

I would not mind a perfect hardware clone, but all i got now is a famulator with jailbars and a retron 5 and that is just emulation so that feels not that real. Mind you i live in europe so it needs to be compatable here with 230 V ac.

How is that board the option when it does not provide RGB or HDMI by itself?

It's only a custom Famicom PCB with original PPU/CPU support.

Sadly the only ways to get HDMI is Kevtris mod.
For RGB you'll want Tim's NESRGB boards. Which are great as well, also more affordable.

However, both require good soldering skills if you don't want to buy a pre-modded console.

Or go the AVS / Analogue NT Mini route. But the latter has been sold out for a while so you'd have to pay through the nose for one on eBay.

I have the Analogue NT Mini and it came with all the needed plugs for Euro-use, works great.

I think Analogue will make a new lower priced NES FPGA clone in the style of their recent consoles.  Maybe Neo Geo will come first as Christian started off with SNK.

It depends on what you call hi-def?  Does the RetroUSB's AVS suit?  Switch has NES games kinda for free...

Mister project is a good option as well if you like DIY.

I need one myself.

I consider everything that looks stable and clean on my 4k tv High Definition, Most of the time thats already good with RGB, so i will look into modding a famicom myself so it will output rgb.
