I have 3 game boy systems. But I don't know if they all work because I don't have games. I'll get a game soon and check them.

I have checked them ! One of them works very nice, one works  nice but the start button doesn't work but I'll  repair it ! One is bad.

So if someone is interested please PM me !

What is bad about the last one? And how much would you ask for the one which the start button doesn't work and the bad one? And are these all Gameboy light or just the normal gameboy?

FamicomFreak

I wonder if there is a way for someone to incorporate a light inside a normal gameboy to turn it into a gameboy light!! I'll look on google for mods!

I think a couple of white LEDs, a resistor and some creativity would do the trick ;).

I think the hardest part should be placing the LEDs around/behind the screen than anything else. Maybe the reflective coating behind the LCD could be peeled off and replaced with something similar, placed a couple millimeters back to make space for a little light diffuser (ever disassembled a laptop screen?) and a row of tiny superbright white LEDs could be placed on the top or bottom row, wired in series and pointing to the diffuser. The edges of it should be covered with black electrician's tape to avoid losing precious light inside the Gameboy (unless its one of those semi-transparent models, in that case it would look awesome ;D). Gameboys step up the ~3V from the batteries to 5V for the electronics and some negative high voltage for the LCD contrast thing, so power shouldn't be a problem, but battery consumption would be. If you check, a Gameboy Light uses AA batteries while the other Gameboys use AAA's. I should stop drooling now  ::)

OH ! sorry ! I didn't know that Game Boy is different from Game Boy Light.
The 3 systems I have are reguler Game Boys.
Anyway if anyone wants to buy, PM me with an offer.
