You don't see men in the US with long hair these days. Long hair for men comes in waves...the last wave ended in the early 90s. Before that it was late 60s. I wonder if it'll happen anytime soon, seems like it's every couple of decades.

most of the population has short hair, BUT the stoners, skaters, metalheads, and PUNKS still have longer hair than normal. ive had long hair since sixth grade (9th now) but had a military cut before then. (dads fault)
Great Fox will cover you.

OKay, guess its my turn!

I live on a farm with apple, cherry and pear trees as well as a veriaty of vegetables and smaller, tree-less fruits like strawberries and raspberries.

I have a reputation of being unconventional when it comes to problem solving and the like.

My AV Famicom is my most prized possession  :D

I'm 15, but I'm in 10th grade, so I'm really young I suppose.
I take Japanese at the local college.
My hair is almost down to my shoulders.
I live in Mill Valley, CA
Unlike some people on the forum, my vision is better than 20/20. I guess I'm lucky.

It's impossible to have better than perfect vision.

It is possible to have better than 20/20 vision. Some people are born that way.

MaxXimus

If you can see farther than someone with 20/20 vision, it means that you have something like 21/20 which is considdered far sighted. You would more than likely not be able to see something close up as well as someone with 20/20 vision. I don't believe you can break the 20/20 ratio with out screwing up somewhere.

Quoting the almighty Wikipedia:

QuoteA visual acuity of 20/20 is frequently described as meaning that a person can see detail from 20 feet away the same as a person with normal eyesight would see from 20 feet. If a person has a visual acuity of 20/40, he is said to see detail from 20 feet away the same as a person with normal eyesight would see it from 40 feet away. It is possible to have vision superior to 20/20: the maximum acuity of the human eye without visual aids (such as binoculars) is generally thought to be around 20/10 (6/3)however, recent test subjects have exceeded 20/8 vision. Some birds, such as hawks, are believed to have an acuity of around 20/2; in this respect, their vision is much better than human eyesight.

I know it sounds strange to believe, and your point is valid. I have a particularly good close up vision due to my nearsightedness (what you lose in far perception you gain it in near perception). But yeah, some people can have 'better than perfect' vision without screwing something else up :P.

Also... Damn birds ¬¬U

MaxXimus

Crazy. Boy did I ever get the short end of the stick.

kite200

Yeah. I Think my exact number is something like I can see from 20 feet what other people see from 16 feet.

So I think that would then be 20/16

And your vision doesnt blur at all when holding things close to your eyes?
