As the title suggests I'm looking for a nice 5v point to wire in a nice on/off LED. Any suggestions?

And don't worry I'm not drilling holes in the shell, it's going to be easily removable without a trace.

Thanks y'all

dude, just use a multi-meter in conductivity mode and find a best sport for the 5V and ground :)

Yes, thanks for that. If you read my question again I asked if anyone knew of one. I don't want to add something to somewhere that might cause issues just because I find 5v floating out one end of it. But thanks for your reply.

I think this is right, though the ones with question marks may be swapped.

The chips nearest the power switch need power, too. You can safely tap into their power source. Find a nearby chip, look up the data sheet for the pin out and you'll be all set.

I don't recall the switching design of the Twin Famicom, it may be possible to directly tap into the switch (though it may also be a little too spicy to conveniently tie San LED into).
