Will this AC/DC Adapter work for AV Famicom in UK?

Hi All,

Brand new famicom owner - have read the guides and think I get it but don't want to blow up my new famicom - can someone advise if this AC/DC adapter will work for the UK pls?

This outputs 9v DC at up to 2000mA.

Also assuming this meets the technical requirements, I am not doing something silly by plugging this thing into the wall and directly into the famicom like, there isn't something I am missing is there?

That ac adapter should work just fine as it uses center negative,also a pal mega drive model 1 ac adapter will work as well.

thanks, its good to know I was on the correct lines with this one.  I spotted a Mega Drive adapter and went with that instead, as a lot of people have suggested this.
