NES PSU Adapter

I know Genesis Model 1 will work

But all my PSU's are in storage

Someone on AtariAge siad a 12v will work, It did..But it got warm by the Cart & the Power Supple in the Console

I should know all this, But it's my Top Loader, I don't want it to burn out

Til I get it out of Storage I got a 9V 1A coming ing in the mail

I think 12 V may still be fine but it's probably maximum for about how much heat the NES can take and 9 V is the minimum for a 7805. 10 and 9 V are both better than 12 V as the the voltage generator will generate less heat and last longer.

I been going to the Goodwill's & the Eco Thrift

I see only 5v or 12v 1A Adapters or even 8.7v

I need 9v 1A

I see 9v Adapters on ebay, But the input is 0.3A too low

Yeah that's too low current, should be at least 0.850 A like the original one.
