I dont think they're scammers.  Like i said,i got the product but not the whole package. they won't answer email's or their phone.

Trouble getting started? First issue was 2005 ! Wrong phone number? It's on their paypal account! Too busy? Yeah too busy hiding from all of the people who already paid for the subscription!

I let the guy from gamesniped.com know the troubles we were having with them and he said he'd contact the guy. If he couldn't get in touch he'd take the magazines off of the giveaways.  The magazines are still being included in the giveaways so I guess he has no trouble getting in contact.  Just wish he would contact me now.

Veal, I finally got mine!  You still haven't heard anything?!?  I just took a quick look and they seem pretty good, especially the issue with the NES photo collection of all the box covers and the issue about Famicom and Japanese merchandise.  It's also interesting to see the game price increases with each issue since each has an updated price guide.  For example, it has a CIB Super Mario Bros for $3 in 2004 and the latest issue it's gone up to $20.

I only have one issue of this mag, the one with the nes photo checklist.Found it in a blockbuster around the end of 06.I dont know how accurate the price guide is but the rest of the mmag seemed pretty nice.

Hey! I read through this topic and the magazine seemed to be something that I would like. Of course I was worried about the claims of them not responding to messages and sending out publications erratically. So out of curiosity I sent them a message earlier today and got a response within three hours.

Here is what I sent them:

When I found out about your publication I was intrigued, it covers a lot of stuff that I am actively a part of. However I had heard that there were some concerns about the frequency with which you publish your magazine? Assuming I purchased your full package (The one that comes with all of the back issues) how often can I expect to receive new issues? Do you operate on a monthly basis, a seasonal basis, or something less set in stone?

Here is what they replied to me with:

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for writing.  We shoot for a quarterly schedule, but delays in the past have put us behind.  Our latest issue, Video Game Collector #9, is shipping this week and we are now back on schedule.  We are bringing in new editors and staff to help us get and stay caught up.  Issue 10 will be a giant-sized special issue and will ship in April.  The delays have been our biggest problem, everyone seems to enjoy the content of the magazine.

The 'Give Me Everything' bundle is by far our best deal, though I can tell you that it will probably be going away sometime in February.  We are almost completely out of the back issues, and in fact we are back ordered on VGC #4 so if you order the bundle we will ship all the others (except issue 4) via Priority Mail.  We have some copies of VGC #4 that are coming in as part of a retail return, so once they are here we would ship your copy out free.

So there is a fairly recent update on what they are doing. I'm going to be getting that 'Give Me Everything' bundle since I want all of their stuff and because it will be going away soon. Hopefully this will help some of you that were a little worried about the publication.
