Super Mario Bros (For those who say I couldn't beat the game without warping in that other thread, I made an 8 part video)  ;)

I was playing a famicom multicart and it had a hack of MArio Bros. that alllowed you to swim through the boards...gave it some challenge in the dungeons cause you didn't just jumo you would float through the boards like you were swimming....

Finally beat the last maze in Chack'n Pop.  They didn't bother to port over the intro, cutscenes, or ending from the arcade version, so it just loops back to the first maze with no fanfare or anything.  The funny part is that the sprite for Ms. Chack'n (whom you're trying to reunite with) is in the ROM, but never ends up getting used.  She's there, but you can never get to her ;D

I was just wondering why there was no intro or cutscenes in the FC version of Chack 'n Pop. Lack of storage space didn't make much sense and you've just confirmed that they didn't bother. :P

My favorite console port of Chack 'n Pop is the Sega SG-1000 version. A bit slow but pretty faithful to the original and it's got some nice catchy music too.

I'm leaning towards inexperience with the hardware.  There's other unused graphics in there, too, like a full-sized Mighta, the water vial (which isn't used in the FC port), and this giant Monsta:

I'm thinking they just brought over all the graphics from the arcade version and realized later that they wouldn't be able to effectively pull off the story elements.
