Last Famicom game you played?

I played Cosmo Cop on the Asder 20 in 1.  Love that title screen but the game itself doesn't seem quite as fun as it used to - perhaps because it's going.

The Asder version of Cosmos Cop is much easier than the Caltron version. That rapid-fire sure is helpful in a game where lining up to shoot an enemy and/or the hit detection seems a bit spotty. It is a somewhat subpar Space Harrier clone, but it's also above-average by the standards of unlicensed action games.

I had my first taste of Layla yesterday. It's not bad. I've also been playing a bit of Fantasy Zone II over the past few days.

I managed to make it to stage 6 without getting a Game Over. It really is easier than the US release.

Layla's actually my favorite Famicom exclusive.

Last game I played was the US Lolo 2, as my famiclone has a mix of US and J region games built in.

Super Mario Bros., as a proclaimed "safe zone" of Nintendo consoles in my opinion.

As same as it is, it's still fun, even after I beat it several times on my NES!

Paris-Dakar Rally Special!

The racing segments here are pretty bad.  Why are cars randomly faster than me, especially when coming from out of nowhere beyond the bottom of the screen?  At least the game over music is nice.

Still Paris-Dakar Rally Special!, but made it past the first racing stage now.  This game is just...what the heck is going on?  Not at all the generic racer I was expecting.

Super Mario USA.  Never beat it as a kid and figured I'd finally settle my account with that game.

I've played a bit more of Layla. It's really growing on me.

I have this one, and mean to pop it in and give it a whirl one of these days.

Finally took an evening to play some games, and played Doki Doki Yuuenchi.  TBH, the game never really appealed to me as I am not really a soccer fan, and the idea of kicking a soccer ball at the bad guys just seemed dumb to me; after playing for a few minutes today though, I was quite sucked into the game and didn't put it down until I finished it.  I really enjoyed the game, going against my expectations for it.
