Kid Icarus for the Famicom Disk System!

I'm not a huge fan of Kid, but I'd love to play it to see how the mic feature works.

Yeah about the mic fuction; in the game I went in a store (not the black market guy who doesn't want to lower prices) and talked and screamed in the mic, but nothing happened. So I did like in our versions of Kid Icarus and just pressed the A and B buttons on the second controller and then he lowered his prices. Im I doing something wrong?

Yes it does work. Pretty well actually. I don't think that Kid Icarus was compatible with the microphone after all.

I've just been playing some Layla.  I grabbed it on a whim, but the quality of the game surprised the crap out of me.  Anyone else given this much of a try?

The only Famicom game I own at the moment is Batman, and I've been playing it a lot lately. The only differences between it and the NES version is that there is no opening copyright screen, plus 1-1/1-2 and 2-1/2-2/2-3's BG music is switched around.

It's in a Sunsoft case, and Sunsoft appears on the title screen. The actual ROM is like this too, so I'm pretty sure (and hope!) its official.

I have a question. I have a pirated Batman cart but it has a weird label on it. Does yours look anything like this?

I've seen that label before. I had been curious what game was on the cart. Sucks that it's just Batman, because that's a kick ass label.

Yeah I had no idea what game it was when I first got it but then I saw batman and I'm like damn I first though it was a Castlevania game or maybe even beetlejuice.
