Yes. I wish it started on Green Hill Zone though, because the graphics for Spring Yard are unbelievably bad.
There's a cheat you can put in at the title screen to get a level select..and music!
Left, Down, B, A, Right, Up, A, B, Up, Down, Up, Down

This cheat also works on Family Kid. Interesting to note with Family Kid is that the flag at the end of the level sometimes shows Mario (the same one from Somari) which makes me think Family Kid is hacked from Somari.

Quick question - What is Family Kid anyway? I keep hearing about it and apparently it's more rare than the Super Mario World pirate.

Levels & gameplay is exactly like Somari, but it has a different character sprite that replaces Mario.

It's impossible to beat Galaxian anyway, so yeah. Good luck.

Last Famicom game I played was Mario 9. I really like Adventure Island 2.
