Welcome back, 133MHz. I think we all understand the ups and the downs. Glad you're back with us...This gives me an opportunity to share a quote that gets me through tough times:

You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing and dance, and write poems and suffer and understand, for all that is life...  -- Jiddu Krishnamurti, spoken

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, I know you'll come through it though. Glad to have our resident Chilean tech god back. BTW, I'm going to Chile at the end of the month  ;D

aww man that sucks.  Very sorry to hear that.  I also get VERY attached to my pets and take it very hard when anything happens to them.  I nearly had a break down when my dog of 16 years passed away :(  Hang in there bro and get what you need to get done and back rolling in the right direction.  Best of luck.

You have my condolences 133mhz. I know the grief of losing a beloved pet. The best way for me to deal with it is to work with a hobby. Its a good thing that you have that fds to keep you busy.

You have my condolences.
That was one cute and beautiful dog.

I know how you feel, because I also get attached to animals pretty fast and have lost a dog and several cats in my life.

But it's good to have you back.

Sorry to hear about your dog man.  I was close to my dog "Shadow" back in the 90s.  But like me he's got (had) a restless spirit and finally jumped the fence and went back to being a Stray.  Learned two months later, he'd been mauled by three other dogs five blocks from my house.   :(  But at least Shadow went down fighting.  Don't know you as I'm new here, but losing a dog you're close to does indeed suck.  Hopefully you can make that connection with another dog.  But I  look forward to conversations with you along with the others here.

Strange, I also had a dog named Shadow.  Shadow & Homer... then we had to get rid of Shadow because his barking annoyed the neighbors.  We still visited him until the owner backed over him with a truck.

I blame the neighbors.

Welcome back. Sorry about your dog.

I had to put my own dog down in October, he was suffering from seizures from a brain tumor. 8 years of happiness are left behind... it hits hard...

Hey Im also sorry for your dog...I know how you feel, since I also lost mine this year about 3 months ago. She was about 11 years old and had this tumour on her stomach. The tumour did nothing really, and had it for years, when suddenly this year the tumour made her sick. She didn't eat, didn't move or listen to us, and had half her eyes half closed. It was just too sad to see her suffer like that and know that she would die so we had to put her down. :-\ In one day I saw her alive, and 3 hours later on the same day she was buried in my backyard. :'(
