Hey Famicom World. In case some of you might be wondering why I haven't added any reviews to the site in quite some time,  its because I've decided that I'd rather do video reviews on  youtube. You often see rather crappy video reviews on youtube if they aren't done by some big name like gametrailers ign or gamespot. I mean people who are too loud or too quiet, have blurry videos of low quality, and people who claim things like "this game sucks balls becuase I don't like it". Not very useful.  Taking the common mistakes into mind, I've bought a video capture card and plan to do voice over work and edit together some intereresting reviews.

I plan to review games from basically anything: Commodore 64, NES, Famicom, Famicom Disk System (assuming I can fix mine  ::)), SNES, N64, Genesis, Sega CD (again, assuming i can fix it), Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance. I'd also really like to do DS and PSP if anyone can suggest a methoid of recording video without shinging a camera on an LCD screen and hoping for the best.

So right now I'm in my pre-launch phase.

OKay so thanks for reading and I hope to hear back from you all.

Update: I've gotten all the hardware nessesary to capture videos and create reviews. Now I need some input from you guys!

1. Suggestions for a program name. "Satoshi Matrix Reviews" sounds rather dull to me but I'll use it if nothing else comes up.

2. Requests for games to review. Since I'm not using emulators I don't have EVERY game for EVERY system but I do own quite a veriaty for each so the chances are good I'll have it. I've already decided I'm going to review Famicom Wars, but I'll fully willing to take requests.

I dunno how that would work, everyone has played mario 3.

I'd like to see a review of that Don Doko Don 2 that was made into Mario 8.

Weird, I tried to post last night but apparently it didn't get saved on the server.

I have a LOT of Famicom/NES games, but Don Doko Don 2 isn't one I have unforuntely, so I won't be able to review it.

As for SMB3, well.........that's been done so many times I don't know what I could say that hasn't been said before or do what hasn't been done before...espically not after the recent AVGN pure epic review.

Keep suggestions comming though, if I can do it I will.

I can review MOST Famicom games (maybe 75% of all of them) through the combined libaries of myself and a few friends who are avid Famicom collectors.

FamicomFreak

You should review Captain Tsubasa 2. It's a great game!

Unfortutnely I dont have a Neo Geo or PC Engine. Please read my original post: I can do Commodore 64, NES, Famicom, SNES/Super Famicom, N64, Genesis/MegaDrive, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance.

If it isn't on that list, I can't do reviews for that system as of yet.

Har the cat
