Getting up at 8:30AM when I go to bed at 3AM. I don't understand why but I'm tired as a result. Going to bed earlier doesn't help much. ???

Are you having trouble falling asleep earlier, or is it just no matter how much sleep you get, you're always tired?

Taking naps during the middle of the day might help.
I have the same problem sometimes and taking naps doesn't do much for me.  I tend to oversleep if I don't set an alarm or I'll wake up more tired than I was when I laid down.

Can you go to sleep earlier? On days that you're tired? ???

Nightstar699

I've had the worst insomnia for many years, and it made middle school especially painful for me, as I'd go to sleep at 5 or 6 AM, then have to wake up at 7 AM.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

Waking up with the pounding headache that you went to bed with.

manuel

I can very much relate to that headache thing.  :'(

Same here, and it's usually when I haven't been drinking the previous night. ???

I get a lot of sinus headaches thanks to my allergies, and I've found that I have to medicate them if I get them before bed. If I'm even able to fall asleep with them, they're always waiting for me stronger than before in the morning. (And, as is often the case with me and a bad headache, I'm usually nauseous to boot.)

Nausia sucks. I get really nauseous right before I sneeze for some reason.

The feeling of using chalk to write on a chalk board and the sound of it of someone whom is not experienced in using it.  The feeling of that yellow chalk on your hands and you can't get it off till you wash your hands. they must've bought cheap stuff when I used to go to school.

trying to go outside and I can't find my sneakers.

trying to go to sleep and your brain is thinking of random things.

The emergency broadcasts on TV when a episode is on you never seen before.

odd random noises that come from my bicycle that disappear.

kernel panics.

food advertisements that don't look as good as in real life. (should be considered false advertisement)

paying $250 A NIGHT for a "nice" hotel only to wake up in the morning with bed bug bites  everywhere :'(
I am a big Nintendo fan! especially GameBoy, N64, SFC, GC. And of course Mario games
I collect SFC/N64 mainly. Some rare famicom stuff too. Also miscellaneous video game stuff.

I know. God!

We could do a whole topic on bikes:

-getting a flat :(
-not being able to align the tire back into place right (goes along with the random noise) :-\
-getting greasy fingers :(
-tire scraping against bike frame, costing you momentum :upsetroll:
-splashing up mud after a rainy day :upsetroll:
-taking your bike inside, trying not to get anything dirty :(
-cars hitting you, denting stuff, ruining your frame, almost making you miss a test at school :-\
-bicyclist going the wrong way, almost hitting you, or causing too many vehicles in the lane :upsetroll:
-people not looking over their shoulder when they turn into you & blame you for getting hit >:(
-having your bike stolen :'(

oh jeez, I hope they didn't come home with you. When I stay at a place I don't open my bags till I inspect the place, especially the bed. I try to flip the covers as fast as possible to make sure nothing has the chance to scurry into hiding. For the money you spent that's just so wrong; if you weren't able to get your money back I hope you left a really bad review online.

Yeah, I can agree with some stuff here, especially cyclists who think the rules of the road don't apply to them. Just gotta keep in mind the benefits of cycling that you don't get from other sorts of transportation or recreation.

To me it's still way ahead of its time. (I look at bicycles like some people look at porn. No, its not the kind of activity that involves hands, just eyes.)  http://www.reddit.com/r/Bikeporn/

One thing rarely brought up by people who enjoy biking (and/or running) alongside the roadway is the exposure to dust particles and pollutants from vehicles that are breathed deep into the lungs while exercising. Doing so hardly qualifies as a beneficial, smart or healthy thing to do near traffic and is in fact quite the opposite. Don't take my word for it, though, feel free to look it up yourself.

Cheetahmen

At the risk of annoying people who like biking, I find having to overtake them annoying. It's especially bad when you're on a main road and there's a lot of traffic coming from the other direction. :-\

At the risk of annoying people who like biking, I really can't stand cyclists generally.  They may be worse here than elsewhere, but they're more often than not arrogant, obstructive, abusive and intolerant of anything and anyone else on the road.

I don't agree with generalising, but when nine times out of ten what you come into contact with fits the usual stereotype, I tend to stand by it until proven wrong.

Of course, there are many more rude, horrifying and scarier drivers than there are cyclists!
