That's why people should use Chrome for iOS instead. ;D
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Yup, the boy speaks the truth!

But say you're designing ana pp for example that has a web feed or a link out, you have to design for the common denominator as well, all iphones have Safari :)

Yeah, it's work related.  Our web app supports Safari, so I gotta make it work on Safari.  It'll work in Chrome, also (unofficially).

Unreliable fuck buddies or ones where only they get off  :( Also my lack of decent PAL SNES games

you should make a snes with a super cic chip or a region mod on your snes. that's what I did to my us snes and now I can play us pal and jp games( well jp you just need to pluck out some plastic if you have a us snes) . the only problem I see is trying to get us games on the pal snes is the cart slot size. I know they have adapters or you can grind out some plastic.now that I am done typing this I released I may have missed the bigger picture of your comment.

Please excuse the nasty yellowing on my consoles they were both second hand jobs I have no idea how remove the region thingies but since I now have the right bit for opening the consoles I may open up both and create some console porn by photographing naked components and probably have a crack cleaning the yellowed consoles too

*edit* Der helps if I put the picture up.

People that waste food.  Some woman was at the restaurant in line in front of me, and apparently there was some problem or the woman changed her mind or something.  I think she had ordered, and then decided she wanted beef with the noodles instead of balls of fish, but they didn't have any beef left.  By the time she decided this the noodles were already cooked, bagged, and ready to eat.  So I saw the woman complaining to the owner of the small shop, then the owner refunded her the money, and the owner took the bags with the noodles and dumped them into the garbage...two or three servings worth.

Maybe the restaurant was in the wrong, but I personally have never had any experiences like that at the restaurant, and seeing as the woman had already paid the guys, she must have allowed the order to go along pretty long before stopping it (for those that don't know, at many local Taiwanese food shops you pay AFTER your food is ready).  And just to see so many bags of good noodles go to waste, it just really bothered me.

That annoys me too! Also adult people that still haven't learned to eat up everything on their plate and leaves tons of food on it to be thrown away.

Or just get a Super Famicom. They are cheap and you can use all cables and controllers, except the AC-AC adapter that comes with the PAL SNES, for it. Or get a US SNES and snap off the tabs if you want to play US games as well and don't want to use an adapter. Modding the cart slot to fit US cartridges usually turns up looking very bad.

Yeah that kinda bothers me too. Why didn't they use the same rectangular cartridges like the US ones for all regions?? Oh and also, talking about SNES carts, I won't even bother starting complaining how ridiculously badly SFC/PAL SNES carts were designed...

security16

Can't be arsed getting a US snes because likely I will run into the same problem as the famicom not being able to pick up on the tv in my room. I will probably hook the SFC up to the teev in the lounge room since i'm able to get the famicom working on that one

Or better, why didn't they just use the same design on the US SNES instead of that ugly squarish thing with purple buttons. From Nintendo 64 and on they used the same design in all regions at least.

I like the us snes look. May just be because I grew up with it. Also purple is my favorite color. I do however have a super famicom controller that I removed the cord from and replaced with a us one so I have a longer cord. I just hate region locking in general. alternatively if you dont want to mod the cart slot you could ether buy empty eur/jp game shells and put your ntsc games in them and make new labels or you could play them with just their pcb but that's a wee ugly also.

P

Yeah we all hate region locks.
I would rather just use an adapter to play US games on a SFC though. The only problem with a wobbly set-up like that, is that it needs clean pins on the cartridge and the adapter. Else a bump to the SFC could easily cause a game to hang.

Something that annoys me?

The fact that I can't find anybody ANYWHERE to play HeroQuest with. I've looked all over forums, chatrooms, Facebook and even went through about 100 people on Omegle! But not a SINGLE HUMAN BEING ALIVE wants to play this game with me! Forget being annoyed, this makes me depressed and angry! T__T

There is a NES game based off of this card game.  It went unreleased, but a proto exists.  Maybe you might like it?

It's not a card game, it's a board game. And I've never heard of any NES game based on it. Playing the game in digital form doesn't sound all that enticing, to be honest.  :(
