4G on HTC EVO 3-D and "Hot Spot Tethering" when linked up with my ASUS Cyberdeck (Notebook)  :blinky:
Gaming peaked in the 8-Bit & 16-Bit eras...
all else is just rehashes and insanity passing
itself off as "gaming."

I actually downgraded my service a few months back.  Comcast was like $30/mo. when I first signed up, and it'd gotten up to around $75/mo.  I called and complained a few times to keep my bill lower, but I finally had to just downgrade my service to save some extra moolah.  It's currently $45/mo. and going up to $55 in November.  I don't do torrents anymore, so I didn't really need the blazing speed anymore, and I can still stream 720p pretty good (1080p gets a bit choppy).

I might re-up to the high-speed over the winter if I find myself doing any online gaming, but I don't have anything that needs it for the moment.

Got my media PC hooked up at my new house with FiOS!  And this is running it through a crappy wireless bridge!

my home one is pretty much the same but with ~13-14Mb/s download ... upload is still expensive here  ???

Working from home today and have my laptop sitting next to the FiOS router.  Decided to plug it in and see how fast it goes:

I am a big Nintendo fan! especially GameBoy, N64, SFC, GC. And of course Mario games
I collect SFC/N64 mainly. Some rare famicom stuff too. Also miscellaneous video game stuff.

Just got fibre fitted a week ago. Considering I live out in the sticks (North East Thailand) I'm pretty happy with it.
Can't quite justify £270 a month for 200Mb/s... at the mo.

Traded in one of our cable boxes (which wasn't even hooked up) and are spending the difference on a faster internet tier ;D
