FW's Best 25 Famicom Games of all time - nominations

Super mario 3 (I don't think anyone can say it wasn't a great game)
Gimmick (really is a great platformer)
Akumajou Densetsu

The nes/famicom era really was about platformers to me and I think these are 3 of the best.

If you want to make a list that means something to people, I'd suggest best 25 famicom games that were never seen in the western world (in any form) but that can be played by people that don't know a lick of japanese.
