A "Windows 2000" pirate cart DOES exist for Famicom. I recall it has a lot of striking features, save for internet and some other complicated things. I've never had it or played it, though. I downloaded once a Windows 98 FC pirate cart. It's just about everything Windows 98 had that I remembered (even the command prompt).

It's in the category "humor"... which means the poster is making a joke, so of course it's fake  ::)

Guess it pays to read Kanji then.   ;)
Figured it for a fake anyhow, but you never
know in this day and age.  I do think it be cool
to see someone using an 8-BIT computer like
the MSX or the Famicom system somehow
surfing the web though.

It's been done with the MSX.

Edit- This is a better example.

I don't think that was the Internet.  The URLs had .dox extensions.

Also, I believe I've heard of a C64 Internet browser.  I could be mistaken.

Meh. It has been done with the MSX, you can install an ethernet port or something. but, yeah, the C64 had something internet-like.

Fake! The Famicom couldnt handle that much memory usage, it would become toast.

A windows 2000 for Famicom DOES exist.

I wonder if there are any XP, Vista, or MAC versions of the cart?

nintendodork

Is there any reason why all the text on that page is weird?

My computer has Japanese font installed, so I wonder what it is..

Exactly. That's where I first got to know about it.

satoshi_matrix

Hm...that looks interesting actually. Anyone know if it exists as a ROM? I'd like to see if it would work on the powerpak or at least an emulator.
