It was trying too hard, and throughout the whole film it was just begging to be a serious film, not a comedy. I think it would have been a lot more cooler "all serious rambo style".

WHOA....  What happened? I don't understand what he's talking about. Did they get divorced or something? I thought his wife and son lived with him in Japan... Perhaps not.

Uhh, no, they did both live with him, Luke's wife and son left him because (according to the video, anyway) he spent too much time buying things for himself and making videos about video games.  It's really sad to see one of the biggest voices of Youtube's gaming community leave all of a sudden.

I don't think all is lost, women can be very stubborn but its not like it can't be repaired.
