I was blow drying my hair after taking a shower as usual, when I heard a couple of explosions accompanied of a burning smell and the tripping of the main circuit breaker. After resetting the breaker, I couldn't find where did the problem come from.

Damn, this could've started a fire. Fortunately it just ruined an ugly piece of fabric. Phew!

You blow dry your hair?

Hmm... I just use a towel and let the rest dry through the night.

Just posted something on Zophar defending America's roots.

Finished making my Famicom to NES 4-player controller converter.

I first tried it by wiring the controller ports directly without first cutting the existing PCB traces, but it wouldn't work correctly that way. After cutting the traces, it works great and includes NES Zapper support.  ;)

And of course, thanks for the schematic, 133MHz!  ;D

Took on a new translation job.
My first video game translation, and it's quite a famous game, too!

Is it Sin & Punishment 2?

FamicomRetroGamer

"Wii 2" that's the name they're going to give to the new Nintendo video game system? That's so silly.

I hope they won't call it "Wii 2" if so they should've stuck to:

NES
NES 2 (SNES)
NES 3 (N64)
NES 4 (NGC)
NES 5 (Wii)

And about DS 3D, better graphics I suppose it'll have, better than PSP's graphic would be nice, playing NSMB with great visual/details and gameplay on DS 3D would be sweet.

nintendodork

It should be obvious they aren't going to stick with the name "Wii 2".  The Wii was the Revolution for the longest time.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat
