Well, that was the reason we went, and I should've made my post clearer but I just now got home from Kansas City.  We left before noon on Saturday, stayed in a hotel overnight, and did some sightseeing, shopping, walking around, etc.

Actually, I just said that because I saw him on TV with a ventriloquist puppet; & it just seemed like the most typical performance: it was one-way where only the puppet was being funny, & insulting Jeff the whole time.

Most of his shows are probably not like that, though.

Well, he is a ventriloquist, but his show last night wasn't really just his puppets insulting him.  It was a back-and-forth thing, and there was a fairly big portion that was just him.
