If you were talking to me, I was an idiot and did the nes lockout mod on my system. The mod worked out fine but now the system won't re-assemble correctly. The cartridge chassis pushes down but won't spring back up whenever I screw the top case back on. I'll have to figure it out later.

When I performed this modification I had no trouble reassembling my second NES. Hope it works out.

It's probably a good idea to quote someone if their post is on the previous page and the subject has been changed since they posted.

Anyway, that's one of the great things about having a Famicom.
