Remake Pokémon Gold/Silver

There are some rumors going around that Gold and Silver are getting a remake. What do YOU think?

As for the G/S remake, it's not going to happen anytime soon.  There are rumors that Nintendo slapped a copyright on their possible names, and no one even knows if that's true or not.  And all those stupid Youtube videos 6 year old kids make are false, since the game doesn't exist yet, so there isn't a possible way to see screens or a front cover.

In a pkmn commercial you see a gold and a silver ball flying... Also, some guy from famitsu or another japanese gaming paper said on the 10th of this month Nintendo will reveal a new game...

The Gold and Silver ball is the one you use in Pal Park.  It could be a reference, but it doesn't mean it's going to happen.  I'm not saying it won't...but I AM saying it won't happen anytime soon.  Besides, some guy isn't exactly a great source..

Well, "some guy" is nobody, but "some guy from Famitsu" is somebody.

If it is Pokemon related, it's probably something stupid (along the lines of My Pokemon Ranch).  I don't see them announcing the next big Pokemon game this soon after Platinum's release.

Well, I think on the 10th of may a new pokemon will be announced. And maybe a good one... On a Dutch forum, everyone says it should be a remake of pkmn gold/silver...

I doubt it's anything big, I bet it'll be, like UglyJoe said, possibly the Platinum add-on for English Pokemon Ranch.
