Problem with game?

Hey, i noticed a strange problem with my sonic 6 cart. I dropped it, and it broke in half. The game is bigger than the ones in most famicom carts, and had many strange switches. It works great game only no cart, but for some reason, when i put it back together it absolutely wont work! Anyone know why?

The plastic casing is flexing the cartridge circuit board, or it is preventing the pins from sitting fully inside the Famicom cart connector.

I would also check to make sure that you are putting the board in the plastic housing the correct way.  I don't know if the front of the circuit board should be towards the front of the plastic game case or towards the back.
