The guy's pissed no one else has played it and someone else is complaining it's too expensive  ;D

I finally beat the first dungeon boss. You simply have to hit the boss 2-3 minutes and each of the 4 knights will eventually die. The last knight will come after link but he only takes 5 hits. You don't see the pendant after you beat it, so don't do like me and leave the room and come back to kill it again. The pendant will appear in the menu. The only bad part is that you need to get out of the palace unlike the SNES version which takes you out to the exit. I think it's a Waixing programming error to be able to kill Agahnim before you get the orb. I found the orb and I entered the dark world as link after I beat the boss.

They sure didn't make that obvious!  ::) I'll have to get it out again and try that. If I end up selling both my copies I'll probably buy another copy for myself, this game's more fun and interesting than I expected :P

The guide in the back of the manual says you should get some speed shoes from the old man, then you can get some book in a library you couldn't reach before, though I'm having a hard time finding any library with a book like in the original. Have you found it?

you run into the wall (bookshelf) to knock the book off with the speedshoes ;)
I have a feeling it's back in the village.

Yeah, but in the fc version, you don't see the book on top of the bookshelf in the library. After link runs into the left bookshelf it's added to the inventory. Before I got the boots, I wasn't sure there was a book in the fc version. Also, I noticed dark world level 4 in the SNES version is in place of level 1 in the fc version and level 1 is in place of level 6. I can't believe such a game exists for the NES!

That's actually more realistic. :P

This going to be an interesting game - I've already got my recording hardware set up. ;D

I'm hitting the left bookcase constantly, I'm not getting anything. What's going on?  :-[ I can't believe how unresponsive pressing A to dash is also.

Yep. When I get packages from China it takes forever because of customs. I guess because the packages looks like drugs or knock-off pharma products :-/

UPDATE: For anyone who still wants a copy of this game it's still not too late. Just send me a PM
with your shipping address and I can have a pseudo-factory/store copy shipped to you ASAP.

I'm a pretty flexible person so remember... You won't know unless you ask!

PS: My flexabiliy totally depends on how honest, reasonable, and quick/responsive you are during communication. Others need not apply.

Anybody else playing this? I beat the boss in the palace(forgot his name) and got into the darkworld, I had previously gotten the crystal ball so I can remain in normal form instead of turning into a rabbit. From here on I'm a bit lost though. I went through the dungeon that's in place of the master sword but the key for the boss room doesn't seem to work. I then went to the dungeon at the lake area near the desert, and got the hookshot there, but no matter what I do I can't seem to use it(you'd usually press select to use items in your props menu...). So after that I went to the desert dungeon in the darkworld, and now I got to the boss but can't figure out how to hurt him. Could possibly just be like the very first boss where you just keep hitting until something happens I suppose. Too hard to not die while doing that though :/
