I had a friend over, and as is typical for him he played through Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! As he's somewhat out of practice not having an NES at home, he came up short against Iron Mike. So I got called on to take him down in a rematch. I beat him twice in a row, once by decision and again in a 3rd round TKO.

Kirby's Dream Land (GB) - Completed the first quest, for the first time. Didn't have time to get far into the second quest, as I was just supposed to be testing my spare copy.

Conquest of the Crystal Palace (NES) - First time!

Point of strategy: always take the attack crystal at the beginning of the game. I was able to have projectiles through the whole game, which meant I was able to fight the final boss from a distance. Huge help!

I got in the mood for it the mood for it earlier in the week, after re-watching the original Godzilla movie the day before Halloween.

Hikari Shinwa Paluthena no Kagami - Famicom Disk System
Thought I should beat this one once again before I play the new 3DS game. :)

Protoman

RAF World on Famicom... took a lot of training, let me tell ya! This game demands near-perfect memorization of the levels. But the awesome music was actually the biggest reason I kept coming back I think.

Top trumps Dr who game for the DS. The hardcore Whovian in me insisted i play it but also the hardcore gamer in my insisted I shouldn't buy it because it's lame  >:(

Play Action Football (NES)

I had to stomp this one for the NA Challenge. I actually won all seven games, almost entirely using my three favorite running plays: Lead Option, Sweep, and Dive. Passing is for chumps.

Mo-hd

DKC 2 Diddy's Kong Quest.
Amazing characters, soundtrack, great graphics, levels,  etc. RARE done themselves well with this game.

Protoman

New Super Luigi U.

I didn't think I was going to be able to finish this game at first, but it actually got a bit more manageable as it went on strangely enough. The fact that the stages are short are the saving grace.

But getting all the coins and beating all of star world? No way, that's laugably impossible. (to me)

Paperboy 2 (NES)

It's my 16th credit of the year in the Nintendo Age challenge.

Valis III (Sega Genesis) Beat it without dying last night.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...
