Hey guys! What's you least favorite video game genre? Mine is Sports for sure. Be sure to reply!  ;D

Jedi Master Baiter

Simulators, by far.
Then I guess MMOLRPG
Followed by RPGs  :-\

NintendoKing

I hate Sports titles, simulated football, basketball, soccer, hockey, baseball and any other title you can think of. Sports games are the worst ever.

Jedi Master Baiter

OMG, simulated sports games! Two levels of crapdom!

My least favorite genre is anything online-only.

Online gaming is a natural step up from single tv multiplayer sure, but I stilll think that multiplayer should be a game's afterthought, not its focus.

The biggest problem with multiplayer only games is that the experience to play them is fleeting. Over time fewer and fewer people will go online to play and eventually the game servers will shut down resulting in an unplayable game.

UglyJoe

I really don't like realistic sports titles.  I think the only exception would be EA's NHL games for the Genesis, although I'd consider those more checking/fighting sims rather than hockey sims.

So much wrong with sports games, I have only ever kind of liked "Blades of Steel" and thats the only sports game ever partially enjoyed by me.

Soccer is Football.

Foot ball = Play foot ball with feet.

Well I love Sports games but it's only with cars/bikes and football (PES gamer not a FIFA gamer)

I don't like RPG games, it's just not my type but I still play if possible.

One genre that in the middle, it's FPS/TPS.

But if I go play Conker Live & Reloaded is a TPS, I can't say no, it's such a sweet game.

Sports. There are a few exceptions however due to some interesting content the a select few sports games provide.

Sports games get a bad name. If you understand how to play American Football, Tecmo Super Bowl is one of the best games for the NES. It's arcadey and got an 8-bit charm to it.

You guys really ought to check out these games at the very least

Blades of Steel (NES)
Megaman Soccer (SNES)
Tecmo Super Bowl (NES)
Mario Golf (GBC)
Wii Sports Resort (Wii)

2A03

I generally steer clear of sports games and turn-based RPGs. I do have some exceptions, like NBA Jam and the Phantasy Star games for example, but I stay away from most games of those genres.

Jedi Master Baiter

Other good sports games:

-NBA Hangtime (N64)
-Basewars (NES)
-Nintendo World Cup (NES)
-Super Spike V'Ball (NES)
-Tracks & Fields (NES)

& I kinda like:

-Soccer Shootout (SNES)

First person shooters... of the xbox generation and the 360 generation... They're all the same to me. The only thing that changes if the target (humans, zombies, aliens, etc).

I do enjoy Goldeneye and Wolfenstein any day of the week though.
Now you're playing with Power

Have to disagree here, they're not all the same. They're different.

It's like saying all black/white look the same which isn't true at all.

MMORPGs, I don't understand how a game that you need to devote your life to is fun.
