how long is shipping from japan to the US take through air mail usually?

Typically about 5 business days. It depends on where in the US you are, too. I live on the West coast, so it may be quicker here.

5 business days would be very fast. That's probably EMS. Normal airmail should be 7-10 days (5 days is possible, too, but unlikely) and SAL is 10-16 days. If you're unlucky add a few days.

I got my package today from manuel, The AV Famicom + 2 games.
It took 8 days, from Japan.

I find that to be really fast.
8 days is very quick from Japan.
