Boot up Problem

So soon after the other topic. Okay so I recently moved from Oakland to Portland, and i boxed up my Famicom etc. and when I unpacked it the RF modulator head was off. I asked if i could get a new one when someone replied that it comes off and you can just put it back on. I put it back on and i decided to play it today. I plugged everything in and the screen doesnt show anything. I dont know if this is a Famicom problem or a Modulator problem. i wish they had a light instead of orange paint

Welcome to Portland!  

You should be able to get one at a Goodwill store, especially the one on SE 6th Ave. They're usually always there for about $2.

damn i just moved here 9 days ago.  looks like im around some retro gaming enthusiasts.  Robin Mihara ftw.  Sure is better than Oakland. yeah ive been to the goodwill there before, huge.  i was gonna buy a ps1, but decided against it.

I saw a complete Dreamcast with Sonic Adventure in the CD drive for $27 at good will. It's a great store.

If you're talking about an N64, mine didn't come with one either. It shouldn't be too hard to find one though.

disheartening news: bought a new RF cable and the damn thing sill doesnt work.  I thought it HAD to be the RF cable cuz i can see some change in the salt n pepper on the screen.  Well i guess there is always the possibility of it being my tv, i guess i shouldve tried that before i bought an RF cable, but why would my TV suddenly not be able to play it?  i dont want to buy another damn famicom.

sadly i think its the famicom thats broken though, i guess i burned it out?  well after repeated weekly usage in oakland and one use in portland.  damn portland electricity.
