Hello community!

I know I haven't much around, still reading the forums tho, so how's everybody doing?
I make a topic because I need help. On 30th october I wrote a post on my personal blog (http://classicvg.wordpress.com/2010/10/30/happy-halloween/) and I showed some of work with my game STAR WARRIOR. It's going to be "an epic" (pretty ambicious) 8 bit game, just like those nice Famicom games that we used to play, I will try to emulate as accurate possible the whole Famicom experience. Sadly, I am not ASM programmer, so, certainly this game is going to be released on PC first, and my goal is to release it on Nintendo DS. But I don't want to get into that yet.

I need help with the story of this game. I am a very bad writter, my goal is to put some "cut-scenes" (like Ninja Gaiden) with graphics and text scrolling up and try to build a story and according to this story, try to work from there. Basically, Star Warrior is a shooter, like Star Force, but unlike Star Force I am going to add more bosses and variables into the graphic thing. All the graphics and code are made by me, so right now, are a lil bit cheesy and pretty bad done. I am using a Japanese Tile editor to make the graphics and probably the 99% of my sprites need more work. The music is being done by a guy from Tulsa, TX. He has worked with me in the past in other projects and he's really talented on 8 bit music.

So I was wondering, where can I get help to write a plot for my game? I know! A 8 bit famicom lover community!. So here am I, asking for help. I know most of the plots for shooter are already made and I don't want to fall into cliches, want to make something really original but it's hard when you suck haha.

So, any creative mind around? Any suggestion is welcome.

Hmmmm this interests me. What kind of story are you looking for? Ill see what I can come up with, but don't have a high expectation :p
