please consider reading these whole threads prior doing anything at your own risk.

good luck. (it the recipe worked for you, feel free to add your feedback. Perhaps, someday there will be a sticky thread with the recipe)

Thank you for the great answer!  I will probably just go ahead and try and find a different ram adapter.  Honestly though, I will be using this with an Analog NT, so I might wait and see if it runs correctly with that first.

Yep I was the OP on one of those threads and the solution ended up being a different RAM adaptor. It's a crappy problem to have since it's not exactly easy to find extra RAM adaptors floating around - I ended up going through two duds before I managed to find one that wasn't glitchy.

 ???

required bunch of resistors costs less than $1.  i'm shocked :'( :'( :'(

Another suggested solution was to replace the faulty RAM chips.

If I recall correctly, I think we tried to replace the RAM chip but didn't succeed.

Did have success with resistors though.

Also worth noting that the problem only occurs on SOME famicom consoles. Namely late models. A very tricky problem thus.

However, I would guess that at least half of RAM adapters are faulty and RAM adapters aren't that cheap. So buying new RAM adapters is not my recommended solution.
