Instead of just remaking, the previous "Sonic" games, they decided to intergrate "various" areas into past games. Now it is in, 3d. talk about desperate.


Why not just make a 3d game for the Sega Saturn?


So where is Knuckles in all of this? Will they show his past self wearing a Sun hat, with the word "Mon" at the end of every sentence ( like in the guide book ).
Maybe Knuckles instead will not have his club music, super cool beat Sonic3 anymore. Way to not stereotype for this new release.

About that "Holy Sword of  " game.. I hate to say it, but a new Kingdom Hearts games, will make the fans engerized. I don't even know why people still play the games.

Updating right now! Everybody and their grandmother is updating, so the progress bar is moving very slowly. Might be a full hour before my 3DS finishes it's update.

Thanks for the alert, this time I'll definatelly plug in the power adapter in before updating! Let us know when it finishes!
I will try to update here in Europe this afternoon (still 8 hours untill I can get to my 3DS)...

The download sped way up and did not take as long as I thought it would!

So far the internet browser seems to be very smooth with little lag. So far I've only visited FW, so we shall see.

Yeah, the 3DS browser works quite well so far.

VC is nice too. Downloaded Super Mario Land and beat it already. (Was it really that short?  )

I'm taking my time with Super Mario Land. Did you know you can change the view to make it look like you're playing on a gameboy if you hold down "select" while you start the application?

I saw that in a Joystiq video an hour or so ago. It's a very neat touch.

I agree, and I prefer the actual game resolution to the crappy enlarge filter they've placed when you play it normally. It's just so ugly! You think they would put in an option to make it nice and blocky, but still fullscreen. I think it's called nearest neighbor filtering, but I'm not sure.

Hey hey in Europe went the update okay (on cca 12th try) some 3 hours ago! The Ocarina trailer looks fantastic in 3D!

Why would they block the shop in Switzerland? Seems like a very dumb idea to me...
Any reason behind this?

They said it's a server overload. I don't believe them as some people near the border of the country could access it easily. Nintendo isn't in Switzerland so the connections goes in Germany or France servers I think. They just blocked the Swiss IP for a while. It'll be unlocked but I don't know when.
