That's one problem solved (too expensive), and the first-party games coming out around the holidays will fix the other (no games).

I wonder how high is salary is to begin with.  :coin: :coin: :coin:
It's nice to see that at least some execs from big companies have a bit of decency left in them. *ahem... bankers and the like who give themselves million $ bonuses when writing red numbers... ahem*

At the new price 3DS should be selling a lot better.

FamicomFreak

Yeah I'm picking up mine come August 12th !! WOOHOO!

A lot lower than you'd probably expect (approx $2,000,000): http://kotaku.com/5576036/mario-creator-doesnt-need-your-stinking-money

Wow, that's low. The executives at the company I work for make more than that per year!

manuel

Well, he probably (usually) earns more than his salary from dividend on his stock.  :mario:

Well yeah, but they shouldn't have to lose money to keep their product alive. I love the hardware, but I think it was released too soon. Imagine OOT 3D as a launch title...

UglyJoe

Yeah, the launch was strangely early.  Zelda at launch would have made a lot of sense.  So would, you know, maybe having their online infrastructure in place before launching.

Say, can you watch 3D Blu-ray videos on your 3DS with the actual 3D?

Its 3D feature really isn't what would make me buy it but the games, though, I'm more inclined for a DS Lite or a DL XL. ;D

Nope.  The 3DS's resolution is nowhere near 1080p.

They added a video service recently that shows random 3D videos and they occasionally show movie trailers.  Dunno if they'll ever offer a way to watch full movies in 3D.  They have a Netflix program now, but the video isn't 3D.

No, but I don't see why you would need 1080p resolution on a 3.5 inch screen.  Standard definition on portable consoles is enough when the screens are still that size, and if they got considerably bigger where the difference between high definition and standard definition would be noticeable, they wouldn't be anywhere close to portable.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Even with the price cut I have no intentions of buying a 3DS.

I'll buy when they do a VirtualBoy special edition one.
